Established in 2004, the school's original name was Atlanta Classical Christian Academy. In the spring of 2015, the school changed its name to The Stonehaven School. The name reflects the school's foundation upon the rock of Jesus Christ (Stone) and a culture of grace, love, and rest (Haven).
